Bethel - By the Numbers...
Tithes and Offerings are the monetary gifts collected to fund general operations,
utilities, salaries and the programs of Bethel, the Eastern Michigan District,
and the Church of the Nazarene nationally and internationally.

Faith Promise is a fund raising commitment to support
specific Nazarene outreach needs and activities Worldwide.
God's warehouse is in Heaven, not in our bank accounts.   
Here, we are to be His stewards - God's distributors - not His warehouse managers.   

When we obediently give what He has supplied to us, He resupplies from His storehouse.    
Then and only then is our treasure in Heaven.
Serve the Owner, not the assets...

Enjoy God's rich supply while you have it, but don't hoard it at the cost of someone else's true need.

When God provides above your true needs, use the excess to meet the needs of others.

Matthew 6
19  "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
20  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;  
21  for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also....

24  No one can serve two masters;
for either he will hate the one and love the other,
or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and wealth....

33  But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.26

  • 288 literature projects were completed.
  • Provided $506,763 in medical assistance to missionaries.
  • Raised $2,781,658 funding 258 construction projects on

  • Partnered with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries to provide
    more than $7 million for disaster response and relief.
  • Sent 67,771 Crisis Care Kits to world areas hit by disasters.
  • 8,955 Nazarene Work & Witness volunteers donated over 302
    man-years of labor.

  6. Continued to propagation of the life changing message of Jesus.
  7. Outreach events - local community actions and Bethel
    participation in mission trips.
  8. Olivet Nazarene University, a fully accredited liberal arts
    university preparing Christian men and women for service in the
    world.
  9. District activities, ministries and camps for children, teens and
    adults.
  10. District oversight of existing churches and the planting of new
    churches in Eastern Michigan.
  11. A pension fund for retired ministers and missionaries.
