Live By Faith
And without faith
it is impossible
to please God,
because anyone
who comes to him
must believe that he exists and
that he rewards those
who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
Love Like Christ
Jesus said -
"A new command I give you:
Love one another.
As I have loved you,
so you must love one another.
35 By this all men will know
that you are my disciples,
if you love one another."
John 13:34-35
Learn to Serve
Therefore, my dear brothers,
stand firm.
Let nothing move you.
Always give yourselves fully
to the work of the Lord,
because you know
that your labor in the Lord
is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:58

You BELONG at Bethel
You BELONG at Bethel
26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called.
Not many of you were wise by human standards;
not many were influential;
not many were of noble birth.
27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise;
God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things — and the things that are not —
to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him.
30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus,
who has become for us wisdom from God — that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 1:26-31

The PATH to God begins with complete HUMILITY.

26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called.
Not many of you were wise by human standards;
not many were influential;
not many were of noble birth.

9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else,
Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and
the other a tax collector.
11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:
‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people
— robbers, evildoers, adulterers — or even like this tax collector.
12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance.
He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God.
For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled,
and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”  Luke 18:9-14

The PATH to God leads to complete ASSURANCE and immeasurable WORTH.

27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise;
God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things
— and the things that are not — to nullify the things that are,
29 so that no one may boast before him.
30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God
— that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners — of whom I am the worst.
16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners,
Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example
for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.
I Timothy 1:15-16

The UNWORTHY are made completely WORTHY in Christ of all God has promised his own.
